Terms of Service
The ground rules for booking work through Columbia Ridge Services.
Who we are
Columbia Ridge Services coordinates home services in the Cincinnati area — plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, gutter cleaning, lawn care, and handyman work — using a vetted roster of licensed, insured pros. By submitting a service request you agree to these terms.
Requests and scheduling
Submitting the form requests service; it does not guarantee a specific time. We confirm a specific appointment window with you before dispatch. Windows are estimates and can shift for emergencies, weather, or access issues.
Service call fee
We charge a service call fee that covers dispatch and the on-site diagnosis. Nothing is charged when you book. The fee is billed after the job is complete and is applied toward the total cost of the work — it is not added on top. Current amounts are approximately $22.50 for a standard visit and $50 for urgent dispatch where urgency is offered for that service; the amount that applies to your request is shown before you submit.
Quotes and the work
The pro diagnoses on site and provides a flat quote before performing work. Work begins only once you approve the quote. Additional issues discovered mid-job are quoted separately before proceeding.
Access, safety, and cancellations
You are responsible for providing safe access to the work area during the confirmed window. If no one provides access, the service call fee may still be billed. Cancel or reschedule by replying to your confirmation as early as possible — there is no fee for cancelling before dispatch.
Warranty
We stand behind work performed by pros on our roster. If something isn't right, contact us and we will make it right. Manufacturer warranties on parts and equipment pass through to you.
Communications
We contact you by email about your request. Text messaging is optional and governed by our SMS Terms. Information you give us is handled per our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a job is limited to the amount paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
